Our journey began with a friend whose skin reacted badly to a harsh product in her search for a solution to acne. Around the same time, we were deeply concerned by an FDA report revealing that some pregnant women were taking pills to lighten their unborn babies’ skin. Through market research, we discovered a troubling trend thus many people were unknowingly using skincare products that caused bleaching in the name of treating skin concerns.
